Toyota are trying to generate publicity after the disasterous PR recently.
In 2017 Toyota maintained it would have solid state batteries in it’s cars by 2020 - what happened to that?
No one has managed to make solid state batteries a reality at scale. Nice concept - works in a lab - making it work in the real world is and always has been the problem,
Fab if they somehow overcome the myriad problems with them though.
Good to see they are jumping onboard - though a little late to the party.
