They exceeded a 5% holding that day and under listing rules were required to notify the market within 5 business days after reaching the threshold. Best guess: they announced after the close on Friday to take advantage of the weekend but could have created trouble for themselves if they kept buying without the announcement so they pulled up at just under 8% on Wednesday. They're serious aren't they lol
