Yeah it's very confusing to me as I've also seen some of my buy orders with the micro increments, but you get rejected when you try to buy or sell at .025? Same thing under 10c, you cant sell .005c increments even though the price swings back n forth on them. It could also be the ASX not wanting such tiny pips, otherwise the algo's and day traders would just be swinging all stocks by such minuscule margins to make a few dollars. Or Cross trades, or 'market makers' providing liquidity?
