I am not quite sure what all you lefies are on about. Er, what's exactly your problem? The Govt, even if they nominate one of their own mob for Speaker still have a majority of 1. Should that person go missing or hit the turps, and the vote tied, then the Speaker would have a casting vote. QED. How many spare friggin votes do you want? So if all you are going on about is that Abbott changed his mind, maybe I should just put your own quote back to you. Get over it, move on. Your lot is still the Govt. This is politics and there is no honour in politics.
