You need to see what is going on back here in Australia, we all pay money every day for poles and charges upkeep which includes keeping the greenery away from the power lines in incidents like this.
Over the years the greens attitude, not in party sense but peoples mindset that want to see a tree with branches blooming out everywhere.
So now when a mild storm comes through and blows a few branches off a top heavy tree over the power lines they all come down.
We pay money for that preventive measure, it's not happening and sooner or later our daily service charge will go up replacing poles and wires in amongst overgrown trees.
It's not political with this, it's just common sense across the board.
