i'll give him credit for at least attempting a Rights issue instead of a SPP, it's a more equitable way of raising, unfortunately IVZ did not go all the way and it was non-renounceable
SI's have had the opportunity to dump shares ahead of the SI raise, then buy back again and then double-dip and participate again in the RI
a renounceable rights issue for the whole amount would have had a very different outcome
