Ha ha ha - well if you don't believe me perhaps you should ask management to explain why they were wasting time preparing a scoping study when what they actually urgently needed was a PFS to submit alongside an Exploitation Application and what made them "decide" to change tack.

While you're at it perhaps you can ask them why they neglected to mention (even in their MRE which was released about a month before all the bad press) that they were drilling in a buffer zone to a National park that specifically excludes exploitation other than by special decree.

That one always puzzled me.
