You know how many billions are being spent. Yes, you already know this. Oh and trust me, the car Industry is not concerned about the 2% of people who need a big rig to pull something 900k's. They don't care about this minority. Do you research what the MAJORITY of everyday travel is? Its short trips. Anyway, just my opinion. Hydrogen will prob be required for heavy industry. We'll all be in electric vehicles. Might wanna get used to the idea. Car manufacturers couldn't care less what distances it seems "everyone" here in Australia travels? Somehow EVERYONE travels between Melb and Sydney! Of course it won't be all electric we're driving but ICE vehicles in another 20 years? And stop being a smartarse
