Most of these characters are not Australian.

I've met the odd Australian that likes Trump due to their media choices but have never come accross an actual Putin supporter.

Other than some ex-pat Russians and a few National Socialist types from Melbourne, Putin supporters are extremely rare phenomena.

Putin will probably do what he says he'll do, that is keep the war going until his goals are achieved. These are not necessarily military goals.

As I see it Putin's primary goal maybe regime change in multiple regions including Europe, Africa and of course the US.

Putin compromises politicians and swarms social media to achieve his goals ..... and so we see some activity by Putin's trolls and bots right here on HC.

One of Putin's key weaknesses ATM is that Xi maybe getting tired of these ongoing Trump plays. My guess is that Xi doesn't like the Trump/Putin bromance and would prefer someone like Musk.
