Your comments sent me on a bit of a history lesson on AVL and now I'm at a loss when I learn of the multiple JORCs, drill testing programs and analysis, multiple PFS, FS, BFS etc ... yet not have any production whatsoever? I'd put it down to 2 things; (1) inept past BoDs lacking any awareness of real prioritisation and (2) not focusing on the core business.
That said, the new BoD cannot be blamed for the actions of the past, however, they are accountable for it now and have to work damn hard to right the ship and communicate new direction and strategy. In this, they are falling well short on expectations and it's only harming early investors that actually believe in the company mission and its future.
The merge was many months in the making. The fact they have willingly given off the impression (publicly) that they have not done anything themselves to understand the unique benefits of the two projects fully is concerning. The MTM JORC and project plan was all on public record. The fact they're now paying Wood for a 4-5 month OFS stinks of indecision when they should be shouting "WE'RE BIGGER. WE'RE BETTER. WE'RE READY TO GO!" with confidence.
Back to @sabine purpose for this thread ... I don't see any upwards movement should things continue the way they are currently. Downward trend looks here to stay but I'm hopeful that AVL realise they control the turnaround. What could change it? (1) Better communication from AVL. (2) Acknowledgement of the existing TMT G-word Vanadium Project proposal and how AVL is planning to leverage its approval by the Minister. (In my opinion, full steam ahead with TMT plan as is, start getting ore out of the ground, then the AVL project plan is the expansion project triggered in response to favourable vanadium demand/price).
As a recently new holder (Jun'23) I made the decision to invest based on more recent announcements and the macro environment looking favourable for critical metals. Discovering the world of VRFBs has been a bonus.
For now, I breathe out and wait. GLTAH.
