just because 87% didn’t take the offer up doesn‘t mean they all have reservations. Many retail investors don’t always have spare funds they can invest at any time when an offer comes up. you are making assumptions where the evidence for your assumptions is not indicative of the conclusion you make. It may well be that a subset of the 87% retail have reservations but it’s anyone’s guess how many. it is quite likely though that 13% have few or no reservations as there are few reasons for people to invest otherwise. for example, I’m thinking of buying in but am restrained by my available funds in doing so, not because I have reservations.
