I note that traders are happy as they have made money yesterday. That is great. But investing is longer term.
One year ago amp was $1.24 before the 2022 results came out. Then the SP dropped to $1.09.
After settling the class actions, doing and announcing capital management initiatives, and achieving these results for 2023, the share price is just about the same as it was back then. That is after the disappointing 2022 results.
This puts the latest results in pretty clear perspective for me.
it is not about the 10% increase in one day. It is about the 13% decline in SP after the last 2 results.
