No, it is just a new world. With BHP's Kambalda concentrator going on C&M (a result of Andrew Forrest putting the brakes on the Mincor assets) sometime this year (as reported), the options for treatment of any material mined from LM8 mines just got hit hard.

There are good resources in the LM8 portfolio, although the geometry, widths, and strike extents will mean fiddly low-production rate mining. This will be similar to the mining methods of the past, so I don't see any leaps in the process @RoyE

I agree though, worth picking up shares in WA nickel sulfide producers and near-term producers, as long as you are confident they will still be around in a few years time.
