The big difference between WMI & WAM is that WMI have 4.7 years of retained earnings from which to pay dividends, based on the current dividend & WAM has 1.7 years.
Chances are that WMI can increase its dividend & that WAM will struggle to maintain its dividend at the current level. Imagine what could happen to the WAM share price if they cut the dividend.
