Out of interest why do you think people should want to join the military? Service to country? Enjoyable employment? Good pay? Active engagement in conflicts? All of the above?
I never serviced & never had any interest in doing so. To me joining the services was not that disimilar reason to becoming a health practitioner, fireperson or policeperson. You do it out of a willingness to serve the community & everything else comes second.
