you must have been in a coma for years if you hadn't noticed political parties campaigning on what they call 'waste' - and how 'business can do things better and cheaper than government'
and when a party wins government by promising 'cuts' and 'better money management' and wins ------- the other mob gets to run for election next time ------- all we get is
' that's not a cut, this is a cut' 'we can cut better than you'
Oz has been in a race to the bottom for decades ---------
look to almost any area ------------ dump welfare housing responsibility - too expensive - private enterprise can look after social and welfare housing - and government will save money ------
yeah right ---------- sheer brilliance
power -- sell off the assets - business will do it better and cheaper ------- well, gosh - how's that working out for you?
Aged care - business will do it cheaper and better -------- oh right, again - how's that one working for you
the evidence is all around you for race to the bottom --------- the only people who have benefitted are the people who government sacked on salaries - then, hired back in months as contractors - at 3 or 4 times the 'cost'
