Hi everyone, just adding to another great thread, thought I'd delve into the area of "volume" again, so many chartists (including me) get lazy and look at a few indicators that have worked in the past - most of these ignore volume, because I suspect it is hard to incorporate into the formulas.
Anyway a look at AIO since about last December with the MFI (money flow index) attached - MFI incorporates a volume calculation into its parameters,as a comparison the RSI for AIO is somewhat in the middle indecisive area and even a slow stochastic has not tracked AIO as well as the MFI.
This is one of the best examples of MFI I have come across but, I admit there are more failures than successes using it so keep an open mind.
