@dave sss (welcome back Dave) has just explained the differences between flash point and auto-ignition for you; his figures agree with those in the references I quoted and also the one you quoted.
I don't know where you live but here in 19th century WA we're only allowed a 5kW inverter and 6.6kW of panels in a grid-tied system unless we have a battery to absorb the extra (an EV battery would be great, but not many models have decent V2L capability). In
June, one kW of solar panels here produces an AVERAGE of 3.0kWh per day according to PV Watts (my 10 years of data indicates 2.6kW/day, but then it is an older system) hence the 2.7kW AVERAGE that I used to charge an EV. I'm not hung up on 2.7kW, it's just a big proportion of what I'm allowed to put up there, and I might have better things to do with it, especially in June.

The one that burnt at Sydney Airport last year took 4 ICEs with it and I'm guessing that if the parking station had been full of EVs they wouldn't have saved many. Two shiploads of cars have been destroyed in as many years by suspected EV fires; they wouldn't have been caused by overcharging or collisions.
