Regardless of the towers coming down . the exact same overload will happen when a huge load drops off when a storm takes out a solar farm or wind farm.
As some say on here, that's where apparently the batteries will supplement this scenario.
Im sorry to say but 150MWh or 400MWh battery wont help the cause . Even if they have a C1 discharge thats only an hour of power Then what?
The batteries a flat you have no renewables to charge them so Base load fossil fuel is the only option. but they will be all gone soon.
This is the fundamental flaw with huge large renewable being the base load.Even worse the they are scatter around the country.
Hoping that we can switch energy from other States their excess energy, is just ludicrous, What if they were relying on another state .
