"I have a feeling we are about to be getting a lot more of these type updates"

Yes the pace is definitely picking up. A snowball effect. Part of the reason for needing more funding. The frustrating thing is that these collaborations cost money while being years away from meaningful revenues.

The announcement I would really like to see right now, is of an industrial cutting/welding, or 3D printing equipment maker, retrofitting BLG lasers of different wavelengths into their existing product range, immediately opening up the large market of said equipment maker's installed base. That would really put a rocket under the SP.

Such applications may not carry the prestige of defense and scientific collaborations, but it is where the reliable repeat business and steady revenues will come from. I do feel, given the range of lasers already developed, plus further wavelengths and power ratings in the pipeline, that such an announcement could come any day.

    All IMO.
