On 9 Feb, I commented upon an announcement of a 'golden handcuff' offer to the executives of NEU, as follows :
"I like your post Guzz & reference to 'golden handcuffs'. For 'handcuffs' to be effective : the Board, senior management must have objectives for NEU's value to be much greater than a hurdle of $23/share .It's great initiative by NEU's executives and sends a signal to interested 3rd parties."
The apparent shorting of NEU recently underway is contrary to the successful up-ward trajectory of NEU apparently expected by NEU's senior executives.
