I didn't relate moral decay to religion.
As it happens every religion (that I know of) supports marriage as the foundation for the shared life of a couple. However thats only a couple of thousand years of human wisdom which doesn't compare in the eyes of many with the wisdom of the last few decades.
Even those cultures of the left and right which shook off religions and replaced them with the Natural Law of humanity supported marriage. Hence socialist regimes replaced the religous marriage ceremony with the civil registry office.
No previous culture of the last couple of thousand years replaced a pledge of monogomy with a casual relationship of convenience. 'Friends with Priviledges'I understand now replaces the old boyfriend/girlfriend status which is seen as to much commitment.
Whether you support casual sex or not tonight will be a first for the Lodge.
