If I had only 10k to invest, and it was money I could throw away without losing sleep over (you need to have the mindset of only investing what you can afford to loose), I would personally go for the options. The reason is that I genuinely believe that the share price will be multiples of the current price in 2years, however you need to assess that for yourself.Below is a table that shows the difference in value for your holding when buying IMUOE vs IMU, rounded for simplicity but gives you the idea. The assumption is buying $10k worth of either E options or heads. Price at purchase is IMU at 10c, IMUOE at 5c. Conversion is 11.8, so total cost for options is 16.8 for options compared to 10 for heads. In the example below, any share price at 24c and higher you are in front with options. Under 24c and you are better with heads.
- Left column is share price
- Middle column is E option value after conversion (16.8c)
- Right column is heads value after cost (10c)
