you do realise the BHP share price has outperformed the Woodside merged entity since it occurred?
BHP sold its lesser coal mines to SMR and WHC. It’s beautiful tier 1 coke business is a core pillar and prints cash. Not an issue per se. SMR got it too cheap but who could have predicted what occurred?
Nickel - I doubt it’ll be enough from the gov to justify operating or injecting more capital. Nickel was and is immaterial to BHP.
