GWSP is a multi-donor trust fund administered by the World Bank Group’s Water Global Practice (GP) and supported by the Australian Department of ForeignAffairs and Trade, Austria’s Federal Ministry of Finance, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Denmark’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Netherlands’ Ministry of ForeignAffairs, Spain’s Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation, the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency, Switzerland’s State Secretariat forEconomic Affairs, the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, and the US Agency for International Development. GWSP acts as the Water GP’s “think tank,” providing client countries and other development partners with global knowledge, innovations, and country-level technical support while also leveraging World Bank resources and financial instruments.
