SUMMARY Inventors have identified a new problem in the industry, namely that current methods of producing compositions containing trofinetide are difficult to adapt to commercial quantities. To address this problem, we have identified new compositions and production methods in which the compound or salt or stereoisomer or hydrate is produced using silylation technology. The use of this new strategy involves the production of new compositions and substantially larger quantities of trofinetide and results in compositions, kits and products containing trofinetide that are commercially beneficial.
