A lot of shares changed hands on Friday… I wonder who was buying?
broker data will be interesting. And changes to top 20 holdings, too.
i suspect commsec and brokers that process contract for difference shares would account for a lot of the selling….retailers with stop losses set and retailers wanting to lock in profits plus retailers who bought NEU on margin and were threatened with margin calls presumably would have sold, but who was buying?
wish I knew!
following the wild gyrations on the stock market and trying to work out why is a bit like watching a murder mystery…except you hardly ever get to find out “who done it”.
