The whole 'CRO still finalising results' excuse sounds like garbage unless there's been a f*ckup in the trials requiring an investigation. Delays of 6 months don't occur because there is a backlog, you dump the data back in the hands of the sponsor. BIT will have been poring over the results internally and are either presenting the opportuntiy to a partner or determining the best way to put lipstick on a pig. It has to be the former.
