Putting something totally different out there, just sprung into my head but who's to say this isn't actually a bigger predator buying up Sayona shares as we speak. We're all convinced it's shorts closing but you never know, could actually be a Gina LTR style on market hoover up of shares.
We are such a bargain at these prices that it could actually make sense for on market buying to build a strategic stake.
Just food for thought.
The short data tomorrow onwards will tell us what we need to know regarding the aggregate short position and their movements which is clearly thr likely driver of this buying frenzy.
