EPS is a function of shares as well, right??? Then there are acquisition legal and other costs. Then there are macro conditions.


ORA was a traditional Peter Lynch Stalwart. With its acquisition we now have to see how it progresses. I am always suspicious of buying a businesss of private equity (especially for a business based in France).

Next problem I have is demographic changes, younger generations are buying less alcohol (negative), but are also trading up when they buy (positive).

So we have to wait and see how this transforms.

So on balance I am half in and half out. Grabbed some profit, and let the rest of the shares squat. Especially as I paid a low price for the shares whilst the market was worried over the last year.
