There's a fella with a PHD in aeronautical engineering and a bunch of others with aeronautical engineering degrees at various levels who work beneath me in my organisation. Despite their impressive academic credentials, I earn a higher salary due to my track record of hands-on achievements, regardless of my lowly education. And I still get heaps of time to wind you up on HC, with no degree required!
