Like the current Synlait financial arrangements, a convertible note wont necessarily stop A2M making an offer for Synlait ...... whether that offer is accepted or not though is an unknown ?
If you're short on the stock with the Sell/Held sentiment you have had in 2024 since roughly the $4 mark then I would hazard a guess you hope A2M don't succeed in their endeavors to either increase their holding or takeover Synlait for their strategic purposes ? One way or another we will soon see how Synlait plan to resolve their $130 million prepayment issue in March
