re: News: Terrorism forces Paladin to abandon... MARWOODE,
You sussed that out perfectly: what a difference 1 letter makes, ie. nGm vs nQm!
If terrorism breaks out in North Queensland, CQT will be the least of our worries! What would we do for bananas or sugar cane?...
Seriously, though, the mystery aspirant trying to buy HSK, then combine it with NQM's Pajingo interest was cash-rich, asset-poor Heron Resources (HRR). See www.heronresources.com.au for more information about HRR.
According to yesterday's AFR, 'Heron Resources had hoped to acquire to the 40% stake held by Heemskirk Consolidated in the Pajingo gold mine. After that, it was understood that Heron would pursue a deal with North Queensland Metals. However, the deal, which would have prevented Conquest Mining from acquiring North Queensland Metals, has failed. Heron will now seek new acquisitions.'
Looks like JK outfoxed them!
