I watched it and can recall the following points in my own words:
- ECS has more offtakes than current capacity
- Organic growth is too slow
- Desire to be number one producer in Oz
- Desire to be cheapest flower producer in Oz
- Desire to be first in class with VesiSorb type solutions
- i.e. sees first mover advantage important for market share
- Only producer with organic certification (expected soon)
- Desire to be Best in Class producer with cheapest Australian production
- Performance of peers suggest some will hit the wall in the near term.
- With peers closing there is an opportunity to win more clients.
- i.e. need to be ready to service them
- ECS have a 4 year growth plan for PCEs
- ECS has approval for 13 tpa and needs this expansion to reach that.
Some smart questions were asked and answered
- ECS is already servicing veterans
- The VesiSorb solution will make a difference because the oils taste pretty horrible apparently.
IMO being FIC and BIC is important to Nan and ECS.
It makes a huge difference to market share in the long run.
That's all I remember.
Cheers
