i am puzzled by the logistics of HGO's exports. Are the containers loaded onto the ship? If so, then this would require a considerable reserve of containers to maintain the rate of export of concentrate. Is the same ship being used for each load and does it return with empty containers? These questions are probably immaterial as long as the exports continue and HGO is getting cash in the bank!

WIth toxic ore (lead) the containers are sealed at the mine and shipped out in the way you mention , poster battleof1066 is correct in HGO's case however as the Concentrate is benign the container is tumbled out into the ship hold and returned to the process plant empty . I know the port was used to do this with iron ore high in Cu about 12 years ago

Seems they are getting paid when the containers arrive at port. It takes all the containers they have to fill a ship. FAP payment terms for 95% of estimated valuev seems to be the go.
