I think that may even be reading into it a bit too much than is needed.
Could be as simple as PLL need cash, shorts need covering, PLL benefit from SYA being in a weaker position.
And I guess if I was to read into it a bit, KP had a 30 year career on Wall St, I'm sure he made plenty of buddies and connections that could help facilitate all of this.
