Unusual heading for the report:
"Stunned Scientists Warn World Could Run Out of Breathable Air"
Interesting read leaves the reader unsure eg:
"At the Danish Center for Earth System Science Gary Shaffer?s worst case scenario predicts that the oxygen levels in the oceans may drop by more than 20 per cent in the years ahead. [4]"
So now I have to go to citation [4] to find out what "years ahead" actually means.
So after reading citation [4] it suggest the use of sequestration of carbon dioxide for global warming. No clear statement on the "years ahead"
Then this statement (citation [4]) gets a little closer:
"Here I present projections over 100,000 years for five scenarios of carbon sequestration and leakage with an Earth system model 5"
So in the end I am no closer to what the term means ("years ahead"). How many years, will I have no kids etc
The reason is that the article referenced is an abstract.
I wonder how many people that read this article would bother to check the references.
So what do I take:
We all know knowledge is something that can be show any angle on and then give a new slant.
Any thing is possible and that is what research (properly referenced) is all about.
Still an interesting read that opens up new doors for making money.
