As someone who is ignorant about TA, just curious to know why the general sentiment is that the longer we go sideways or consolidate, the bigger the potential breakout (or spring effect)….and that movement is potentially imminent. I assume this is based on typical TA movement?
Why couldn’t we just go sideways for weeks and week, and then move up a little to 12 or 13 or whatever, then consolidate at that level?
