I strongly prefer buybacks over dividends. Dividends often provide investors with minimal returns, and receiving dividends does not guarantee that your investment will consistently grow each financial year. Buy backs, on the other hand, can help control stock price fluctuations, indicating that the company perceives its stock as undervalued and has confidence in its future growth
