Newmont down 7.6% tonight in US. The slashed dividend, share buyback, divesture strategy, going down a treat. Reminds me of 2015 when Newcrest put Telfer up for sale when gold sentiment at its lowest. 2015 turned out to be the turnaround year for goldies.
A break upwards in gold price would be perfect timing for us now.
