Seems to me if I was an institution that participated in the raisings for stocks like SMI, I would know from the last raise that the retail holders didn't play and the s/p subsequently dropped below the raise price for quite some time.
I would also know that on current forecasts cash will be tight by the end of March and something will need to be done at the latest by the end of June.
Would I fork out at $1.08 or would I wait and sell down my holding in expectation of the next raise, just like I have done every other time before.
Just saying.
