I agree, it's far from smooth sailing for AZY in the short-term going forth.
But an additional 300k oz gold would take AZY'S 100% total attributable gold resource to 3Moz, at a decent grade. 3Moz gold carries AZY into a new league. The current price of gold is $3,100 oz AUD, and most new Aussie gold projects are using around the $2,800 oz mark. So, there's a lot of added value that AZY can take & show to the bank.
