Two good points there... Grey clouds on the thermal horizon and the need to fund exploration beyond the prestrip. Yancoal has loads of resource coal, but, this needs to be converted into reserve coal before financial decision to mine can be made. We've got maybe 20 years until the current reserves are exhausted. The time to do exploration is now... not wildcat exploration, but, long term mine/model development exploration... and one of the greatest difficulties is find people who can not only manage/understand the logistics of exploration, but, actually understand what quality of exploration data is required in the modelling process so that a reliable model can be built for engineering to efficiency sequence extraction at the lowest cost possible.

Any cowboy can shoot holes in the ground after getting a free geology degree from university, but, only a real Geologist can visualise in 3D and target exploration programs efficiently... Those who can are worth their weight in gold.
