Bear in mind that the Minas Gerais region where the Araxa mine is located is a sub tropical region. There has been flooding there of late. Meanwhile we are in the middle of the desert.
Gibson Desert: 200-250mm rainfall yearly (evaporation rate 140mm per year) over 156,289 squared kilometres. I couldnt get data on Kiwirrkurra, which is the closest settlement on a map to Luni. More chance of unweathered mineralisation in those deeps.
Araxa: 1,095mm rainfall yearly, only 6km from the mine.
These no doubt play a part in why Luni is marketed as a Nb and TREO deposit on presentations and Araxa is a Nb, P, Ba, REEs (+ Fe) deposit. Very different latitudes and geology, but potentially some similarities that will work in our favour and our CBMM sourced advisor(s) can work through.
