do you have at home battery storage should the power go out? cost of these are $13-18k not inc. solar panels.
so, not only does the average joe in the middle-outer suburbs (your target market who is struggling to pay there mortgage) need to fork out $10k's more for an ev, they need to fork out up to $20k for a guaranteed supply so they can drive to work should there be a power blackout the day/night before (assuming they have solar panels).
our current house has a negative electric bill with 10 year old solar panels, am i going to fork out $20k for storage in case of a power blackout for a car that is likely to be superseded within 2 years. nope, that $20k is more than enough for the fuel bill for the life of an ice.
just one of many issues that the lit permabulls fail to grasp.
