No sane person can take the numbers of casualties provided by the western sources or Ukraine as even remotely credible.
That wasn't the point, the claim nor what I was talking about....and I suspect you know that already but instead choose to deflect/go off on a convenient tangent. It sounds like you'd be absolutely horrified if you really knew the actual numbers. Afghanistan comparisons ? Waste of time. That was a generation ago well into last Century and there's been leaps and bounds in terms of weaponry since then and that was a War with few similarities to Putin's current 'War on Ukraine'.
