The potential "win" of $2-$3 for selling at the high point and buying back in at a lower amount is irrelevant if you lose the CGT discount.
Thats why I don't bother trying to time the market - if I believe in a stock's potential then I will ride the bumps on the way up, ignoring the dips and sideways movements.
For me this has never been more true of Neuren - I am holding until a TO
