They weren't intending to announce on Monday. 1 March is Friday. Their request for a halt stated 1 March 2023. It was a copy and paste error from an old request, I guess. But a sloppy mistake no matter the reason.
But I'm not entirely phased either way. Not unusual for a TH to also require a period of suspension. HMD did this when Joondalup was announced, too.
I don't think they're scrambling, or anything has deteriorated since the halt.
But also, 'whatever' - it will be a good announcement or it won't, whether it came today or sometime later.
