    Nice one jezzaaaa

However, I don’t think it’s quite accurate to use a blanket statement that brine profitability is better than hard rock. Sure, spod has further downstream processing but they are totally different resources and “mining” methods; I don’t think it’s an “always true” statement, but often/typically, yes perhaps.

Anyway, just some food for thought, but the key point that came to mind was in relation to this comment:
“quick commissioning for the modular 10,000 plant”

AFAIK, the design of the expansion will build on the learnings and design of the 2ktpa plant, and won’t be a cut/paste in a typical “modular” fashion.
This has evolved somewhat over time, but appears that it is in the best interests of cost/efficiency/operations/etc.
These types of “decisions” should indeed evolve over time, and lead to the “best” path forward, regardless of prior “plans”, in my experience. Not a problem at all, imo.
I do also think that our current work will greatly assist with expediting the commissioning of the expansion, but just a note that the plant won’t be as “modular” as some here might be expecting, afaik.

As an aside, my current “guess” is that our updated “target” production, based on the updated resource and associated modelling, will be 2+10+10 ktpa, or a total of 22ktpa capacity. In that case, the second expansion would effectively be a “replica” of the first. We’ll see.

    Cheers
