Fugasi,
I summed up on the weekend.
Albanese was silent, until after steggall made a media release stating she would introduce a bill that would prevent ban on oil and gas exploration off nsw and prevent bias.
We then have Albo state we will follow the law and it won't be able to be challenged.
Now under present law, a denial can be challenged, but under a new law can not be.
Why did he state it could not be challenged?
Why did he start stating this after steggall announced her plan to introduce a bill?
Remember no bill tabled at that point.
Why did he suddenly decide to have lunch with her last Friday and the bill is then introduced, the next business day?
Join the dots...
The bill most likely has not been approved or declined because I believe Labour is getting a get outa goal free card from steggall.
Or is it.
At a court of law.
The judge may ask -
why did all these other gas permits get approved, that were more recently lodged and not advents?
Why did you hold back advents application, and not make a decision before law?
What was the difference between the applications?
There might not be bias like morrison, but there very well might be in the treatment process.
Not only that but procedural unfairness.
Still the bill needs a second sitting and senate.
I bet aluminium council, Aemo jump etc jump in also as they have been critical on gas shortages.
This whole process, not just the bill is corrupt.
Nopta gave advise in November 2023 and it seems to have gotten lost.
That never occurred with other applicants that got approved.
